Good Faith Estimate at V Strong

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the “No Surprises Act”, a Good Faith Estimate is a document that provides a breakdown of expected charges for a scheduled or requested service. This is done to ensure transparency in price, and protects patients from unexpected or unreasonably high charges.
The Good Faith Estimate will include an itemized list of the expected charges, including related charges. This is not a bill. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If your final bill is $400 or more over the Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to dispute the bill. Be sure to keep a copy of the Good Faith Estimate to compare with future bills.

How We Handle Good Faith Estimates at V Strong:

  1. Verbal confirmation: During your consultation, we talk through pricing before booking your evaluation.
  2. Written confirmation: After booking, you are sent our intake forms. This form clearly details the patient’s financial responsibility and good faith estimate.
  3. Open door policy: If you have questions about charges at any time, you can ask our front desk and they can walk you through each charge.
